El sistema de mercado presupone que  la libertad consiste en algunas cosas que no se pueden cambiar: producir libremente. Moverse libremente. Acumular y disponer libremente. Generar más ganancias sin producir, libremente. Usar la tecnología libremente en su beneficio. Inducir a consumir, libremente. Alterar el medio-ambiente libremente, sin consecuencias.

Cómo se asocian todos estos elementos con la energía?
La libre producción implica generar todo lo que se desea en las cantidades que pueda comerciar. La energía está implicita , puesto que en la cadena de producción de un producto ella está presente en mayor o menor grado. El problema es que esos productos no solo se generan con energía, sino que muchos son dispositivos para consumir energía : automóvil, avión, barcos, trenes de alta velocidad, maquinaria pesada, etc. 
Moverse libremente. 
Se insiste en usar el desplazamiento como inductor de la generación de productos. La idea consiste en incorporar el desplazamiento como una manifestación de libertad. El hombre no se mueve por sus propios medios, no camina, no se detiene a meditar. Su persona se asocia al automóvil que le garantiza esa libertad de movimiento. 
Otro elemento es el avión. Los viajes son una necesidad ficticia inventada por una cadena de empresas asociadas al consumo: empresas de transporte, hoteles, restaurantes, etc.
La idea de desplazarse libremente de un país a otro, solamente porque es posible habilita esa falsa necesidad sin medir la irresponsabilidad del acto. Contaminación,  consumo de recursos naturales, etc.
Con iguales razones se inventa el tren de alta velocidad. La idea es poder repetir viajes impensados, por la posibilidad de hacerlos rápidamente. La idea hace que se extienda la fantasía de libertad , al extremo de tener una máquina que es un equivalente a un transportador instantáneo. Cerramos los ojos y aparecemos en otro punto del espacio.
Pero eso tiene un costo.

Los procesos sintetizados

La tecnología nos presenta novedosas situaciones. Los procesos productivos se han acumulado y se presentan como una síntesis, ahorrando pasos para la producción de un elemento. Ello se logra por la organización inteligente de la energía. 
El hecho en sí no es malo. Lo que es malo es la utilización desmedida en nombre de la libertad de producción , que se ha otorgado a las empresas privadas.
Un automóvil se realiza con gran parte de sus componentes ensamblados en forma automática. A su vez los componentes provienen de procesos semiautomáticos o automáticos.( vidrios, cables, amortiguadores, etc.) 
Lo mismo ocurre con las medicinas. Son procesos altamente automatizados. Muchos alimentos provienen de  procesos automáticos.

De quién es la tecnología?
La tecnología proviene del conocimiento que se ha ido sumando en el tiempo de muchas personas, no pertenecientes a una empresa o país en particular. Es cierto que hay procesos protegidos por leyes, por patentes, etc. pero también es cierto que procesos básicos pasan  a ser de aplicación y uso general de la humanidad. Por otra parte , con poco que se disponga se pueden generar nuevos procesos equivalentes a los existentes eliminando la traba de las patentes.

La persona captada por el consumo
Esta maraña de productos y empresas dedicadas a publicitar necesidades ficticias ha dejado al humano ciego de su verdadera naturaleza. La posibilidad de crecer intelectualmente, de meditar, de contemplar. 

La puerta abierta a un sistema de bienestar general.

Todo esto nos indica la gran posibilidad de lograr un estado de bienestar general solamente con la aplicación de la tecnología en manos del bien común. Eso implica un cambio en las peticiones de la democracia, que claramente no cumplen las espectatvivas ciudadanas en mayor o menor grado.
La captación de las cadenas de producción en manos del estado o un ente representativo de muchas personas, implica controlar muchos de los excesos del sistema de mercado.
Distribución de los bienes en medida adecuada.
Producción controlada de bienes 
Determinación clara de bienes necesarios e innecesarios
Aplicación de conceptos de optmización a la satisfacción de una necesidad. ( caso de reemplazo de automóvil por transporte público automático. O el caso del diseño eficiente en arquitectura).
Anulación del concepto de acumulación de recursos por el hecho de poseer recursos en exceso ( generación virtual de recursos, alejados de la producción real)
Eliminación de entes intermediarios inductores de energía y productos ficticios ( bancos , créditos)
Satisfacción ambiental por la producción medida, controlada.
Disminución de las horas de trabajo en general
Cambio de los patrones normales de definición del trabajo
Eliminación de funciones nocivas en el trabajo: sindicatos.

The market system presupposes that the freedom consists on some things that they cannot be changed:  to produce freely. To move freely. To accumulate and to prepare freely. To generate more earnings without producing, freely. To use the technology freely in their benefit. To induce to consume, freely. To alter the half-atmosphere freely, without consequences.
How do they associate all these elements with the energy?
The free production implies to generate all that is wanted in the quantities that it can trade. The energy is implicit, since in the chain of production of a product she is present in more or smaller grade. The problem is that those non alone products are generated with energy, but rather many are devices to consume energy:  automobile, airplane, ships, high-speed trains, heavy machinery, etc. 
To move freely. 
It is insisted on using the displacement like abettor of the generation of products. The idea consists on incorporating the displacement like a manifestation of freedom. The man doesn't move for his own means, he doesn't walk, he doesn't stop to meditate. Their person associates to the automobile that guarantees him that movement freedom. 
Another element is the airplane. The trips are a fictitious necessity invented by a chain of companies associated to the consumption:  companies of transport, hotels, restaurants, etc.
The idea of moving freely of a country to other, only because it is possible it enables that false necessity without measuring the irresponsibility of the act. Contamination, consumption of natural resources, etc.
With equals reasons the high-speed train is invented. The idea is to be able to repeat unexpected trips, for the possibility of making them quickly. The idea makes that it expands the fantasy of freedom, to the end of having a machine that is an equivalent one to an instantaneous transporter. We close the eyes and we appear in another point of the space.
But that has a cost.

The synthesized processes

The technology presents us novel situations. The productive processes have accumulated and they are presented like a synthesis, saving steps for the production of an element. It is achieved it by the intelligent organization of the energy. 
The fact in itself is not bad. What is bad is the limitless use on behalf of the production freedom that has been granted to the private companies.
An automobile is carried out with great part of its components assemblings in automatic form. In turn the components come from semiautomatic or automatic processes.( glasses, cables, shocks, etc.) 
The same thing happens with the medicines. They are highly automated processes. Many allowances come from automatic processes.

Of who is the technology?
The technology not comes in particular from the knowledge that has left adding in the time of many people, belonging to a company or country. It is certain that there are processes protected by laws, for patents, etc. but it is also certain that basic processes become of application and the humanity's general use. On the other hand, with little that it prepares they can generate equivalent retrials to the existent ones eliminating the obstacle of the patents.

The person captured by the consumption
This tangle of products and dedicated companies to publicitar fictitious necessities have left the blind human of their true nature. The possibility to grow intellectually, of meditating, of contemplating. 

The door open to a system of general well-being.

All this indicates us the great possibility to only achieve a general welfare state with the application of the technology in hands of the very common one. That implies a change in the petitions of the democracy that clearly don't complete the civic espectations in more or smaller grade.
The reception of the production chains in hands of the state or a representative entity of many people, implies to control many of the excesses of the market system.
Distribution of the goods in appropriate measure.
Controlled production of goods 
Clear determination of necessary and unnecessary goods
Application of optmización concepts to the satisfaction of a necessity. ( case of automobile substitution for automatic public transportation. Or the case of the efficient design in architecture).
Annulment of the concept of accumulation of resources for the fact of possessing resources in excess (virtual generation of resources, far from the real production)
Elimination of entities intermediary energy abettors and fictitious products (banks, credits)
Environmental satisfaction for the measured production, controlled.
Decrease of the working hours in general
Modification of the normal patterns of definition of the work
Elimination of noxious functions in the work:  unions.
