Cerebros humanos e inteligencia artificial.
Human brains and artificial intelligence.

Human brains and artificial intelligence

Frequently it is to equal to the computers with the human brain. Somehow the idea underlies of creating a human, with all the potentialities, the possibilities, and the defects characteristic of the human that are associate.
Evidently the human brain, is an achievement of the evolution, with all its achievements and defects. It is known that the human body in general has not been developed in way very efficient for the evolutionary system. In a same way it happens to the brain. If it is well-known that the man uses very little of his cerebral capacity, to what are those inhibited functions owed?

An evident difference between the man and the microprocessors is that they don't have the same development environment and the same necessities. The man is developed fighting with the atmosphere, generating conditioned reflections that allow him to face it. He  learns that if touchs something  warms he can  burn, or that the sounds of certain power stun it, or that certain allowances are too hot.
They would not be the typical problems of a robot, although there is who make an effort to develop similar functions to the biological ones human in the robot. Which is the sense of that search? If something like that you is able to incorporate, we would end up in an end to have a being competitor in front of us. That cannot be the objective, nobody thinks of creating monsters that can devour us.
It is known that the capacity of the brain in memory, for example, is remarkable regarding the systems of microprocessors.  But the reality is that the man doesn't use that whole capacity, alone a part. However to the system with microprocessor can increase it up to where it is wanted and it will use it indeed.
The man has the capacity to learn a language, but the same one has a great base of functions mathematics in his constitution. Of there that the computers can also develop it.

Perhaps the most remarkable situation as for the differences between machines and human brains is the related to the possibility of thinking of transcendent form, with the philosophy, or to carry out poems, or to be expressed in form of metaphors.
Perhaps those functions can be reached, but always keeping in mind that the machine can see its existence like finite in relation to their components, not to the pain, to extreme situations as it happens to the man in its physiology. On the other hand, the man can do without of that transition if he wants it, avoiding the transition area among the alive or dead state. Many prejudices and religious intervention in the decisions have to do with the consecration of that moment.

The basic difference between both resides in that the human brain is based in neurons that are active from a physiologic point of view, with the possibility of generating a more and more complex organism as long as the robot, doesn't possess that mechanism, therefore he would have a limited capacity. The reality is that elements can be incorporated that take to the machine to be more and more complex, in a parallel one with the man.
The man would have incorporate the possibility to be made more complex in the time, while the machine should incorporate that possibility. If one makes by means of the man it would be a machine like we designate to these devices, but if it is the machine the one that makes that own incorporation, it would be a form of conscience.
To leave open a possibility would be this way of fearing, because it could have an independence of the device and it would be hypothetically a competitor with the man.

Paradox of Moravec
According to this scientist, the reasoned human thought it requires of little calculation in the elaboration of an intelligent system, however the motive and sensorial functions that the man shares with the animals, are much more difficult of emulating., requiring quantity of computer programming. It is known that alone so that a robot learns how to walk or to go up a stairway, it implies a quantity of incorporate programming, however it is not an activity that we consider intelligent.

Seemingly this is due to that the man is the result of an evolutionary process of a lot of time that has taken it to specialize in those functions while the abstract thought is something relatively new, for that which the nature has not still had time to take to its best expression.

Does it make sense the competition?

My point of view is that the robots are the man's very efficient complements.
The activity of robots is known in the action of repetitive tasks in investigation centers, being able to arrive to results that they require a lot of time of oppressive task to the human. In a same way in mathematical investigation, the microprocessors are used efficiently.
It is possible to think of inserting us a transmitter that connects us to a microprocessor to increase the efficiency of the brain. In that sense it would increase our potentiality.
Many tasks are carried out by robots liberating the man of repetitive tasks that  generate stress or that they are dangerous.
The robot welders is very useful and they avoid the man to carry out tasks that bear pollutants, intense electric fields, noxious gases, the danger of accidents, etc.
The systems of communications have robots working in functions of connections, transmission, position control, etc.
Other systems are family and they don't pretend to be as the robots that  imagines similar to the humans. A washer of automatic clothes is a basic robot, with certain functions that it doesn't require to be regenerated to learn more, because that doesn't interest. Their task is defined.
A robot can learn adapting before a problem, in way you to achieve a more economic, speedy, efficient process. Somehow we can see it as a limited increase of conscience, but distant to an own determination.
Other examples
A system of automatic transport, controlled by computers is completely possible. It would be robot's form acting in benefit of the security vial, controlling the energy administration, preventing collisions, etc.
Systems of administration of functions in the housing, what is denominated domótica, is similar examples. A system of intelligent illumination that detects people and lights or it turns off lights according to established approaches it is another example. A system of control of a room of controlled atmosphere. An alarm system with their sensors and communication devices.
A system of geothermal energy exchange for a housing implies an intelligent system that controls the movement of fluids.
A solar positioner that allows to capture the biggest quantity in energy is a system based on a position servomechanism, a variant of robot of an only specific function.
